Glenariffe Community & Recreation Centre

Glenariffe Community and Recreation Centre is owned and managed by the Friends of Glenariffe. The Centre opened in June 2019 after a 10-year community project to raise the funding required to provide a community facility for Glenariffe.

The Centre project cost of £1.1m was funded by a combination of grant funding from The Big Lottery’s Space & Place Programme, Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council and Ulster Garden Villages, a loan from Ulster Community Investment Trust and our community who raised over £340,000 through local fundraising initiatives.

We would like to acknowledge all our funders, community volunteers and supporters both near and far without whom this Centre would not have been possible. We are also indebted to Oisins CLG for leasing the land for the Centre and for their continued and consistent support.

Our Funders
Friends of Glenariffe would like to thank all our funders, donors and supporters who so generously contributed towards the cost of the Centre build project.

If you can spare a few hours to spend on reception or helping out with cleaning, community events, marketing or site maintenance, please contact us at the Centre.
